How it works

At the initial consultation (45 min) I take a full medical history and we may decide on appropriate tests if necessary;

The first review takes place 2-4 weeks after the initial consultation -or as soon as we have the results of any tests; we can then set up a treatment plan that may include medications, a food plan and a self care plan

At 3-6 months we have a 30 min follow up to discuss the impact of treatment and make any adjustments to medications if necessary; subsequent follow up appointments take place 6-12 monthly afterwards.

Please note that all serviced are delivered online; health insurance is currently not accepted for menopause care services

Costs of initial consultation 45 min £275; this does not include any additional lab-related costs

Follow up 30 min £175; this does not include any additional lab-related costs

Please note for urgent prescription requests outside an appointment there is a £25 fee

HORMONE TESTING OPTIONS

Dried Urine testing for Comprehensive Hormones (DUTCH) - includes all sex hormones and their metabolites, cortisol/adrenal stress profile, and some neurotransmitter markers; this is a home testing kit - fee payable to Nordic labs directly £265 +pp results take 4-6 weeks

Blood testing for Sex Hormone Profile at day 21 cycle

This includes: FSH, estradiol, progesterone, total and free testosterone, DHEA sulphate, vitamin D

Cost £165 includes above hormones and can be arranged via Inuvi labs in Wimpole street, London or via a home or office visit from visit for a nurse led blood draw.

Thyroid hormones profile TSH, free T3 and free T4 including thyroid auto-antibodies £95

Please note I am happy to work with any lab results provided that all above hormones are included.

Testing costs are in addition to consultation costs

Please note I do not work with saliva hormone testing or other tests (such as Mira device etc). I only work with blood tests as above and dried urine hormone tests as validated by Precision Analytical labs (DUTCH test where appropriate)
